Cubic ATRS-1015 is an automotive-grade pressure sensor developed based on advanced MEMS technology to provide early warning signals of thermal runaway events in lithium-ion battery packs. The  pressure sensor monitors the pressure change inside the battery pack and transmits the measurement data to the battery management system (BMS) via CAN communication, enabling prompt identification of abnormal pressure conditions and supporting timely safety intervention to enhance battery system safety.

With a response time of less than 1 second, the ATRS-1015 promptly detects abnormal pressure changes, enabling the BMS to initiate timely safety measures. The low-power consumption further supports longer standby operation and integration into power-constrained battery systems.  Furthermore, the pressure sensor maintains stable measurement accuracy across full operating temperature range and offers a long lifespan of more than 15 years, supporting long-term battery safety monitoring.
