Cubic AM4215R-TM Series is an NDIR triple refrigerant gas sensor for the leak detection of R454A, R454C, and R455A refrigerants, specifically designed for the HVACR industry as a complete refrigerant detection system (RDS).

Leveraging advanced NDIR technology, the AM4215R-TM Series ensures excellent long-term stability and selective detection of refrigerant gases. The sensor offers detection across a wide range from 0 to 100% LFL with a 0.1% LFL resolution. Matrix calibration maintains measurement accuracy throughout the full operating temperature range.  Its fast response enables timely leak identification.

Designed for reliability, the AM4215R-TM Series operates continuously in harsh environments from -40°C to +95°C, featuring IP54 protection and resistance to dust accumulation, oil and salt spray corrosion.  An integrated automatic heating mechanism prevents condensation and frost accumulation, while enabling quick recovery after frost, ensuring stable performance in high-humidity or frequently cycling conditions.

The AM4215R-TM series offers dual relays mitigation functions, which includes LED alarm indicators and self-diagnosis functionality for intelligent safety management. Its compact, optimized design supports both integrated wiring-harness and non-harness configurations for easy installation in outdoor units, compressor compartments, air ducts, or other potential leak points. Certified to UL60335-2-40 (4th edition) and UL60335-2-89 standards, the AM4215R-TM Series is a reliable solution for HVAC&R applications, including air conditioning, residential and commercial heat pumps, industrial cooling, and cold chain systems.
