The WSD-05M integrates multiple high-precision sensors into a single, compact unit capable of simultaneously measuring wind speed, wind direction, temperature, humidity, and air pressure. The wind speed and direction sensor adopted advanced ultrasonic time-difference technology, delivering reliable, maintenance-free measurements. It can achieve outstanding wind speed accuracy of ±0.3 m/s within 0–10 m/s across a wide range of 0–75 m/s, and wind direction accuracy of ±3° across 0-360 degrees azimuth range. Additionally, the device incorporates a bandgap temperature sensor, a capacitive polymer humidity sensor, and a silicon piezoresistive air pressure sensor to ensure comprehensive, real-time meteorological analysis.
With low power consumption, and robust industrial-grade construction, it ensures long-term stability in harsh conditions including high heat, high humidity, strong winds, and dusty or corrosive environments. Designed with versatility, the WSD-05M supports both flange cross-arm and threaded locking installations, making it suitable for a variety of mounting configurations. Optional features such as an electronic compass, tilt sensor, and GPS module are available to further enhance functionality. Its compact size and modular design make it ideal for deployment on fixed installations or mobile units, including monitoring vehicles, pipeline inspection systems, or remote field sites.
The weather station supports standard industrial communication protocols including Modbus and RS485, and can be customized to support wireless protocols, enabling seamless integration with remote control systems.
