The answer is VOC sensor. The VOC sensor detects the change of oil fume in the air and helps to intelligently control the operating speed of the fan. Cubic VOC sensor MS-VOC uses advanced semiconductor gas sensors component, which is extremely sensitive to formaldehyde, benzene, carbon monoxide, ammonia, hydrogen, alcohol, cigarettes and other gases in the air. MS-VOC sensor is installed on the range hood to monitor the concentration of oil fume and oil smoke in the air. When the fans speed is low, the oil fume and oil smoke concentration will be higher than required limit. So the VOC sensor could detected the data accurately and transfer the data to range hood central. The fans motor could be adjusted to fasten the fans working speed, which will quicken the process of oil smoke exhaust. When oil smoke concentration is low, the fans will slow down intelligently. In addition, when the cooking is completed, the range hood still keeps working. When the VOC sensor detects that there is no oily smoke in the air, the range hood will be turned off automatically.
